18.10.2021 Share

HYGEIA was distinguished as one of the 17 most dynamic companies during the Growth Awards, jointly organized for the fifth year running by Eurobank and Grant Thornton.

HYGEIA was among the 17 businesses shortlisted to the final assessment stage of the Growth Awards and was distinguished for its excellent performance. This distinction validates the solid upward trend of the hospital, as a result of the trust the citizens have placed in its top-level healthcare services.

The Growth Awards ceremony took place at the Peristyle of Zappeion Megaron on Thursday 7 October 2021 and was streamed live.

The Growth Awards are an initiative aiming to showcase and reward Greek businesses that have stood out in the last years for their solid performance, best practices, adaptability and contribution to shaping a resilient and flexible business landscape in Greece, which is crucial for the new upward cycle of the economy.

The assessment process for selecting the businesses that stand out for their growth, excellence and dynamic performance involves the use of special analyses of key financials and indicators, as well as specific quality traits, among around 8,000 businesses in total.

Commenting on the distinction, the HYGEIA Chairman and CEO, Mr. Andreas Kartapanis, said, “We are extremely proud of this unique distinction in these difficult times. The pandemic proved a challenge for us all. For the people, the society, the economy and businesses. At HYGEIA, we stood at the frontline from the very first moment and we supported the National Health System, placing the health of our fellow citizens first during these challenging times. We are committed to continuing to innovate and to offer the top-level healthcare services that have made as the leading private hospital in Greece for the last 50 years".
