The new, state-of-the-art HEDNO Data Center

Following public tender, HEDNO completed construction works for the new state-of-the-art Data Center managed by the Information Technology & Telecommunications Department. The new Data Center has been properly operating since Monday, 10 April 2017. It has an area of 160 m² and the budget for it reached 1 million Euros.

The new Data Center was designed and built to meet the most current, strict information management standards. HEDNO will now be running its own, independent, high-performance IT facility with centralized operations and equipment that ensure availability and reliability.

Digital modernization is a top priority for HEDNO at the moment. The data center project has been an integral part of the Management’s plan to construct infrastructure that will ensure high-performance operation of the Electricity Distribution Network and the upgraded services provided to its customers.
