KPMG Joins MaaS Alliance to Help Accelerate a Unified Approach to Mobility in Transport

KPMG in Japan recently established the Mobility Institute of Japan to connect leaders in MaaS and the automotive industry

KPMG International announced its global membership of the MaaS Alliance, a global public-private partnership established to build the foundation for a common approach to Mobility-as-a-Service* to enable a single, open market and accelerate the development of MaaS services.

According to Richard Threlfall, KPMG's Global Head of Infrastructure: “KPMG has a key role to play in helping bring together public authorities and private businesses to debate, shape and work together to drive the implementation of MaaS."

“KPMG believes the rapid implementation of the triple technologies of electrification, automation and MaaS in the transport industry has the potential to deliver huge social and economic benefits.”

KPMG is bringing to the MaaS Alliance the active participation of colleagues from KPMG member firms in Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, the US, and Japan which recently established the Mobility Institute of Japan to bring together influential players in key areas of MaaS and the automotive industry.
