The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce conducted a survey on the impact of COVID-19 from 16/03 until 20/03, with the participation of 281 companies and organizations

The global emergence and spread of the COVID-19 virus, has raised serious concerns, not only in the international health community but in the financial community as well. The spread of the virus has caused a domino of effects in businesses and in important domestic and global economic sectors.

In the light of these developments, the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce conducted a survey on the impact of COVID-19 from 16/03 until 20/03, with the participation of 281 companies and organizations.

According to the results of the survey, companies are greatly concerned regarding their financial future. At the same time, they are seeking the Greek state’s support in regards to their financial obligations to several state authorities and banks as well to their employees’ payments. Meanwhile, companies highlighted the necessity of the implementation of strict measures by the state in order to limit the phenomenon outbreak with a view to their rapid recovery.
