Press Release

We are excited to announce that the Ethical Trade and Human Rights Forum London will now take place virtually on the 23rd-24th June 2020.

Using our sophisticated online platform, we deliver engaging and interactive virtual conferences, which best replicate the value of a physical conference. We’ve placed a great emphasis on the importance of networking and on delivering real life, practical content and problem solving around the key issues.

Having successfully hosted virtual conferences in this area already, Innovation Forum’s online platform will deliver:
  • Networking: Pre-plan 1:1 meetings and group discussions directly on the platform, whilst benefiting from various networking sessions that enable the unexpected connections you would expect from a typical IF conference
  • Content: Relevant and practical discussion through engaging, focused and candid session formats with high-level speakers and dynamic moderators that ensure audience participation
  • Problem solving: The online working groups and small group workshop discussions will help drive progress on important practical challenges

Agenda highlights include:
  • COVID-19 and ethical trade: How can companies respond collectively to a common human rights emergency?
  • How business can keep ahead of the regulatory curve with Mondelez, Unicef UK and Freshfields
  • L’Oréal, Fair-Wage Network and PMI discuss the living wage minefield and how business can successfully implement policies
  • How to ensure due diligence practices are comprehensive, cost effective and drive better outcomes for workers, with UPM, Freshfields and BHRRC
  • Can and will companies act as human rights defenders in the future of ethical trade? FIFA and RBIJ discuss
  • Dell and IHG explore how to effectively engage procurement departments
  •   Pirelli and RB debate the business case beyond compliance and question what’s driving up standards in the supply chain
  • What level disclosure is expected of brands now, and how this is set to change with Samsung and CHRB

You can now join all these 100+ speakers and delegates, including attendees from McDonalds, LEGO, M&G Investments, Mitsubishi Corporation, Tesco, Lloyds Banking Group, Zalando and many more with a reduced online rate.

Register online by the end of  Friday 22nd May and get a £100 discount on your pass.

In the absence of physical conferences, we're really pleased to be able to maintain a candid and progressive dialogue in this area. We'd like to thank our speakers, sponsors, Assent Compliance and Diginex, and delegates for continuing to participate and engage during these difficult times. We're looking forward to hosting a really interesting couple of days and hope you can join too.

“The conference was very valuable use of my time; increasing my network, reminding me of some key areas of focus to consider and learning from others”
