Global Link proudly participates in the pioneering WWF citizen science programme to combat plastic pollution. It is not just a one-time beach clean-up: the process involves collecting, counting, recording and uploading the amount of litter. ADOPT A BEACH is conducted four times a year in predetermined months to monitor seasonal variations. This analysis is a prerequisite for tackling the problem.
The team trained by WWF, spent four demanding but enjoyable and rewarding hours analyzing the composition of waste in the Mati Sailing Club beach.
