MITERA: Scientific meeting and 20% discount on assisted reproduction

All couples who will be visiting the N. Louros Conference Center, located within MITERA Hospital, on Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 10:00 to 14:00, will receive a 20% discount for one cycle of IVF treatment at the MITERA Assisted Reproduction Unit. The offer forms part of the 2-day meeting organised by the MITERA Assisted Reproduction Unit, entitled "Innovation in Assisted Reproduction".

Couples who wish to attend Sunday's meeting may call on +30 210 686.98.27-30, from 8:00 to 18:00 (Monday, 10 March to Friday, 14 March) and until 15:00 (Saturday, 15 March). The offer for the discount is valid until 31 December 2014.

The event on Sunday, March 16 aims at giving an open forum for discussion to couples who are interested in finding out further information on assisted reproduction or the treatment they may be currently undergoing.

On the first day of the 2-day meeting, Saturday. March 15, distinguished Greek and foreign scientists will present all the latest and future developments and innovations in Assisted Reproduction to their colleagues.

Dr. Alan Thornhill, clinical embryologist with 20 years of experience in the field of assisted reproduction, will also be attending the meeting. Dr. Thornhill is an Honorary Reader in Reproductive Genetics at the University of Kent and a member of the British Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). The HFEA is considered a global standard in Assisted Reproduction issues, since it guarantees the efficient operation of IVF Units, as well as the bioethics and proper assessment of new assisted reproduction methods.

Dr Ramesan Navaratnarajah, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Barts and the Royal London Hospital, will also deliver a speech during the event. Dr. Navaratnarajah is a specialist in Assisted Reproduction and has spent many years researching infertility and reproductive endocrinology, while he has also conducted studies in the laparoscopic treatment of infertile women.
