The Ecali Club: Special benefits and services for BH members

It is our pleasure to interview Mr. John Georgakakis, CEO of the ECALI S.A. and to discuss special offers and benefits the Ecali club has agreed to offer to our Members.

BH: Mr. Georgakakis we welcome you as our new Member.

JG: Thank you very much; being a member of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is for our Company a great honor.

BH: Present to us ECALI S.A. and its activities.

JG: The Company was founded in 1924 and since then is the water services provider of the Ecali community comprising of 3,000 households; it operates along with its subsidiaries in real estate and through the management of the historic Ecali Club, which was established in 1971, offers to its members F&B, entertainment and sports services. Recently we decided to give a special emphasis on the business networking sector forming a unique business community and we are very glad to say that this activity is developing extremely fast.

BH: What do you think is the USP of the Ecali Club that constitutes its myth?

JG: Our competitive advantage is the special bond our Members have with the Ecali Club’s premises. This special sense of “warmth” and trust, in conjunction with the special relationship we have historically developed with the broader Municipality of Kifissia, is a great legacy which we are committed to preserve. Combining these factors with the never-changing superior quality provided, we have achieved a unique positioning we like to call “Home away from Home & Business away from Business”.

BH: How can someone enjoy the unique services of the Ecali Club?

JG: We are a members-only, private club and over the years we have maintained a strict policy, meaning that the only way for someone to use all our facilities and services is to become a member. The only exception is for guests attending social and corporate events. As far as the members of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce are concerned, I would like to assure you that we will provide them with special benefits and services.

BH: What is the procedure for someone wishing to learn more about these benefits?
