John Georgakakis, the CEO of ECALI S.A.

John Georgakakis has obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from City University of London, after his graduate studies in Political Science at the University of Athens, followed by a second undergraduate degree in Law (LLB Hons, City University of London). After completing his studies, he worked at the Department of Legislative Acts of the European Parliament in Brussels. In 2013, he returned to Greece to work as a Corporate Associate for Latsis Group. His duties focus mainly on Investment Management, M&As, Corporate Governance, Private Equity and Restructuring. He continues to participate in projects related to the development of subsidiaries of the Group. 

He is currently the CEO of ECALI S.A., which was founded in 1924 and since then is the water services provider of the Ecali community comprising of 3,000 households. It also operates through its subsidiaries in Real Estate, whereas in 1971 became famous through the establishment of the Ecali Club. During the past half-century, the Ecali Club remains true to its values, maintaining its leading position as the most attractive country club in Greece and point of reference for its high quality services in the areas of F&B, sports, events and business networking.
